3D Digitizing is an optional module in the Husqvarna Viking 3D Embroidery System. It is also included in Husqvarna Viking 3D Professional.

Turn your favorite pictures into embroideries and see them on the screen exactly as you will sew them. Work with images from your scanner or digital camera, use clip-art or create your own pictures with the built-in Drawing Tools.

Open your picture on the screen. Add designs, letters and MiniPics if you want. Stitches appear in 3D as you create. You can filter your picture to improve blemishes, remove color areas with few pixels, thicken lines to make them more suitable, separate color areas and change color pictures into shades of gray. You can also adjust brightness and contrast or create interesting results with the filters or effects.

QuickStitch™ is the easy way to create stitches. Click in an area and stitches are produced automatically in an instant! Choose to embellish your designs with machine stitches or motifs, running, double or triple outline stitches, machine stitches as motif lines, borders with any combination of straight lines and curves or appliqué.

Create your own fill patterns from any .bmp picture. Emboss fill areas with your personal highlights. Embellish your designs with your choice of hundreds of motifs and use gradient density to produce beautiful shading effects.

The QuickTrace feature automatically creates stitches that follow a continuous line (Patent). Choose to create a single trace, double trace, quadruple trace or satin borders with constant width.

The FreeHand™ features allow you to work with your stitches in detail. Embellish your designs with machine stitches or motifs.

View color layers and object types for ease of editing. Enlarge, reduce, copy, cut, or paste all or parts of your design. Mirror design areas horizontally or vertically and rotate to any degree. Resize areas with automatic stitch density adjustment. Insert and delete objects and points.

Search for and display your designs by name, key words in the notes, hoop size, stitch count, date modified, format, number of colors and other characteristics.

Browse them in different sizes and print selected groups as full worksheets or thumbnail catalogues.

Print a 3D design worksheet to use as a color sewing guide and as a template for placing embroideries on garments. Place 4, 8 or 32 designs on each A4/letter size page to create an easy reference library using the catalog printing features. A table of contents is automatically created to look up your embroideries.

Convert your designs between major formats: .vp3, .vip, .pcs, .pec, .pes version 2-5, .hus, .shv, .dhv (load only), .jef, .sew, .exp, .dst, .10*. You can convert embroideries from .zip files too!
